Overview
Ekozurnalas is a proposed digital solution designed to streamline the eco-certification process for Lithuanian farmers. Traditionally, farmers fill out extensive paper forms annually to maintain their ecological farm status and label their produce as "bio." Ekozurnalas aims to replace this cumbersome paper-based system with a user-friendly online platform.
Objectives
Enhance User Experience (UX): Design a user-friendly and intuitive digital platform that simplifies eco-certification form completion and record-keeping for farmers.
Replace Paper Forms: Eliminate the need for manual form filling by providing a digital alternative accepted by certification agencies.
My Role
Research & Inspiration: Gathered inspiration from existing digital platforms and researched the specific paper forms used for eco-certification. This ensured the digital platform captured all necessary information.
Wireframing & Prototyping: Translated the gathered information into structured wireframes, defining the layout and functionality of each screen. Collaborated with Ekozurnalas team members, leveraging their domain expertise, to refine the prototypes and incorporate valuable feedback.
User Interface: Designed a clean and minimalist user interface for the digital platform, prioritizing intuitive navigation and user-friendliness.
Landing Page & Marketing Materials: Created a landing page and marketing materials to promote Ekozurnalas and subscription options.
Conclusion
Ekozurnalas offers a user-centered design solution to address the challenges of the traditional eco-certification process. The intuitive interface, streamlined form structure, and cloud storage capabilities aim to significantly reduce administrative burden for farmers while ensuring efficient record-keeping and regulatory compliance.
