Overview
FJDynamics, a leading Chinese robotics company specializing in agricultural automation have worldwide popular product for tractors – Automatic Steering Kit (AT1 & AT2). Luxera, a Lithuanian distributor for FJDynamics, partnered with me to create interactive virtual prototypes of both systems.
Objectives
Enhance User Experience: Develop user-friendly prototype versions of the AT1 & AT2 Automatic Steering Systems, allowing potential farmers to experience the functionalities and features before purchase.
Improve Training & Support: Enable remote troubleshooting for Luxera's engineering team, letting them to assist farmers with any questions or issues regarding the systems via prototypes.
My Role
As a designer for Luxera, I played a crucial role in achieving these objectives:
Virtual Demo Creation: Using the actual AT1 & AT2 systems on-site, I meticulously documented each screen through screenshots.
Redraw & Prototyping: I used Figma to recreate each screen of the systems, totaling over 230+ individual screens of both systems. I prioritized the creation of reusable components and buttons for efficient UI development.
Functionality & Navigation: I meticulously crafted a fully clickable prototype, meticulously mirroring the functionalities and navigation flow of the actual systems.
Conclusion
Interactive virtual prototypes have proven to be a valuable asset for both potential farmers and Luxera's engineering team. By creating interactive and accessible virtual experiences, we empowered both potential farmers and Luxera's engineering team, leading to a more informed and streamlined user experience.
